Tim McCreight is a teacher, metalsmith, designer and author. He wrote his first book in 1977 and started Brynmorgen Press in 1985 so he could teach on paper as well as in a studio classroom. A leader in craft publishing, Tim has created a collection of highly respected textbooks on metalsmithing and design. He has written two dozen books himself and worked with colleagues to cover a broad range of topics. He was among the first in the field to embrace digital publishing to augment the company’s high quality books on paper. Brynmorgen Press is headquartered in Harpswell, Maine.

Jeff McCreight, Tim’s son, has worked at Brynmorgen Press since 2013 handling shipping and daily operations. He is also a painter and muralist living and working in Barcelona, Spain. rubicon1.org
